After three years of traceroutes, ping tests, and speed tests, I have finally left AT&T. Their customer support and tech support did everything they could but ultimately it was out of their hands. When you have anywhere from two to four upstream hubs pinging over 3k latency and you work from home, something’s gotta give. So we switched to Xfinity.
I have been online for TWENTY WHOLE MINUTES and not been disconnected once.
We’re right on the outside edge of rural living, and they’re concentrating on their fiber, so I see why their DSL quality wasn’t one of their priorities, but it still sucked.
So huzzah! Here’s hoping that Xfinity can do the do and keep me online!
